Each year, the people of the Christies Beach Baptist Church and the SAFE Centre have joined together to support those doing it tough during the Christimas season. For the past four years, this has included preparing and distributing age appropriate gift bags to children with the support of their care givers. Last Christmas, each bag had a range of toys and gifts worth (at least) $70. When appropriate, a small gift for the mother was included.

Yes, you can help.
Each bag contains gifts to the value of $70. You can either donate money through the Allsorts Community Cafe or you can purchase gifts to be included in a bag. If you are buying gifts, please collect “gift tags” (describing the child’s age and gender) from the Allsorts Community Cafe. Each bag contains:
(1) a “big gift” specific to a recipient’s age and gender valued at $30
(2) toiletreies to the value of $10, e.g., tooth brushes, kids/baby tooth paste, hair accessories, wash cloths/sponges, bath bombs.
(3) book/stationary to the value of $10, e.g., picture books, colouring books, craft supplies, pencils/crayons
(4) clothing specific to a recipient’s age and gender valued at $10, e.g., t-shirt, hat, socks, dress
